Terms & Conditions

Sikh Investors Club

Last updated: Aug 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your membership of and participation in the Sikh Investors Club ("SIC", "the Club", "we", "us", "our"), accessible at SikhInvestorsClub.com ("the Site"). By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or join the Club.

1. About the Club

Sikh Investors Club is a global network of Sikhs who come together to share interest, knowledge, and opportunities in investing and wealth building. The Club is open to Sikhs of all backgrounds and experience levels — from complete beginners to professional wealth managers, entrepreneurs, executives, realtors, high-net-worth individuals, and anyone else with an interest in the Sangat's collective financial wellbeing.

The Club is an early-stage initiative. Its current purpose is to bring the Sangat together on the basis of investing — including through in-person and online events at which Sikh entrepreneurs and Sikh-led projects of all kinds can pitch for investment, sponsorship, or patronage, and through online tools that support networking, learning, and discussion.

Sikh Investors Club is a project of Bunga Azaadi, a Sikh think tank studying Sikhi and statecraft. Further information about Bunga Azaadi and its wider work is available at BungaAzaadi.com.

2. Membership & Fees

Membership is available on a recurring subscription basis (currently offered monthly and annually — see the Site for current pricing). By subscribing, you authorise us (or our payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • You may cancel your membership at any time via your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.
  • No refunds are permitted.
  • We may change membership pricing on notice to members; continued membership after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Membership fees contribute to the running costs of the Club (the Site, Members Portal, Talent Directory, and events) and, beyond covering costs, support the wider work of Bunga Azaadi, including funding routed through Toshakhana-i-Azaadi, a UK-registered Community Interest Company (CIC), for institutional and community development projects consistent with Bunga Azaadi's published strategy.

3. No Investment Advice, No Pooled Funds

This is the most important section of these Terms — please read it carefully.

  • The Club does not pool, hold, manage, or invest members' money collectively. SIC is not a collective investment scheme, fund, or investment vehicle of any kind.
  • The Club is a platform for members to present, discuss, and scrutinise investment ideas and opportunities as a group, so that each member can make more informed decisions for themselves and themselves only.
  • Nothing shared at events, in the Members Portal, in the Talent Directory, in the WhatsApp community, by guest speakers, or elsewhere in connection with the Club constitutes regulated financial advice, a personal recommendation, or a financial promotion to invest in any specific opportunity.
  • Any decision to invest in, sponsor, or otherwise support an idea, project, or individual encountered through the Club is made entirely at your own discretion and risk. We strongly recommend seeking independent, regulated financial and legal advice before making any investment decision.
  • We do not vet, endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for the accuracy, viability, or outcome of any investment opportunity, pitch, or project presented through the Club.

4. Events, Pitches & Talent Directory

From time to time, we host in-person and online events at which members or third parties may pitch business ideas, projects, or opportunities for investment, sponsorship, or patronage. These events, and the members-only Talent Directory (accessible via the Members Portal), exist to help members showcase opportunities, network with one another, and collectively stress-test ideas — not to provide any guarantee as to the quality or outcome of any pitch, connection, or opportunity made through them.

  • Participation in events and the Talent Directory is at your own risk and discretion.
  • We may record, photograph, or livestream events for internal or promotional use; by attending you consent to this unless you notify us otherwise in advance.
  • We reserve the right to decline or remove any pitch, listing, or participant at our discretion, including where content is inaccurate, misleading, or inconsistent with these Terms.

5. Members Portal, Wiki & WhatsApp Community

Members get access to an online Members Portal, which includes the Talent Directory and a Wiki covering investment basics, strategies, and Club development information. We also host a WhatsApp community for informal discussion, knowledge-sharing, and debate among members.

  • Content in the Wiki is provided for general educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as financial, legal, or tax advice.
  • You are responsible for your own conduct in the Members Portal, Talent Directory, and WhatsApp community, and must comply with the Code of Conduct in Section 8.
  • Access to third-party platforms (e.g. WhatsApp, Notion) is subject to those platforms' own terms; we are not responsible for their availability, security, or content — see also Section 12.

6. Guest Speakers & Content

We may periodically invite guest speakers — industry experts, finance professionals, entrepreneurs, and others — to speak with or be interviewed for members. Views expressed by guest speakers are their own and do not represent financial advice, a recommendation, or an endorsement by the Club. If you are interested in appearing as a guest speaker, you may contact us using the details in Section 15.

7. Use of Membership Fees & the Wider Bunga Azaadi Mission

Beyond running costs, membership fees support Bunga Azaadi's broader mission of building sustainable Sikh institutions and community infrastructure, consistent with the principle that "if you want something to be sustainable, you must establish an economy for it." Members should understand that their subscription is, in part, a contribution to this wider mission and not solely a payment for individually guaranteed services or returns.

8. Code of Conduct

As a member, you agree to:

  • engage with fellow members respectfully, honestly, and in good faith;
  • not use the Club, Members Portal, Talent Directory, or WhatsApp community to mislead, defraud, harass, or solicit members improperly;
  • not misrepresent any investment opportunity, project, or your own credentials; and
  • comply with all applicable laws, including in relation to any investment or business activity you conduct as a result of connections made through the Club.

We may suspend or terminate your membership, without refund, if we reasonably believe you have breached this Code of Conduct or these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and in the Members Portal (excluding member- or third-party-submitted content) is owned by or licensed to Sikh Investors Club / Bunga Azaadi and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission. Content you submit (e.g. pitches, Talent Directory listings) remains yours, but you grant us a licence to display it within the Club for the purposes described in these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sikh Investors Club, Bunga Azaadi, and Toshakhana-i-Azaadi CIC accept no liability for any financial loss, business loss, or other damage arising from investment decisions, business relationships, or connections made through the Club, events, Members Portal, Talent Directory, or WhatsApp community. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, liability for fraud).

The Site and Members Portal link to third-party services (including WhatsApp and Notion) that we do not own or control. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or membership after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by law.
